Department of Defense Emergency Prepardness Course Oct 2002 Day 1

The Department of Defense Emergency Preparedness Course trains senior military officers, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, and their staffs to ensure the DoD’s readiness to support its Homeland Security missions; Homeland Defense - Civil Support.  Introduce National, State, Local, and DoD statutes, directives, plans, command and control relationships, and capabilities with regard to disaster and emergency response.  While some of the content here is slightly dated this course still provides a good overview of federal procedures.
