Homland Defense Canada

Canada's Homeland Security efforts falls under the authority of the Minister of National Defense. The MOD provide the core services and capabilities required to defend Canada and Canadian interests, and form an important constituency within the broader Canadian national security community. The main site is found here Canadian Defense Ministry. Specific to the defense of the Canadian Homeland is Canada Command. Formed on Feb. 1, 2006, Canada Command is the Canadian Forces organization responsible for all routine and contingency Canadian Forces operations in Canada and continental North America.
