Homeland Security and Homeland Defense Presidential Directives

This section contains Presidential Directives relative to National Security, Homeland Security and Homeland Defense. The National Security Council (NSC) and the National Security Advisor provides the office of the President consideration of foreign policy issues and national security matters. The NSC gathers facts, conducts studies and collects views of appropriate Government agencies, then determines alternatives, and presents to the President policy choices for decision. The President's decisions are announced by decision directives.
